Location of Pilar Capiz

Pilar is one of the 16 municipalities in the Province of Capiz. It is the last municipality going east from Roxas City, the capital of the Province.
It is located in the Northern part of Panay Island facing Pilar Bay, the largest and the richest fishing ground in Western Visayas. It is the nearest point from the island of Masbate and the island of Romblon. There are more than five hundred (500) local fish boats operating in the Municipal waters of Pilar.
It is bounded on the north by Pilar Bay; on the south by Lemery and Sara of the Province of Iloilo, on the east by Carles and Balasan, Iloilo province and on the west by President Roxas Capiz.
